BSB University is a unique initiative that exemplifies our commitment to offering a broad, rich, challenging and tailor-made curriculum for our students. This innovative programme is designed to foster independence, self-motivation and an excitement for learning. We offer three different programmes each year, one per term, allowing students to explore a variety of subjects that go beyond the regular classroom curriculum.

Programme Structure
- Term 1 & 2: Each term, students participate in five separate afternoon sessions across the two terms, engaging in a diverse range of activities and topics.
- Term 3: The programme culminates in The Big Event!, a two-day immersive experience where students explore their chosen courses in depth.
Course Categories: Students in Key Stage 2 will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of courses across three key categories:
- Self-Development & Personal Challenge
- Arts & Creative Development
- Service & Community Enrichment
By offering courses that span multiple year groups, BSB University encourages students to collaborate with peers from other year groups who share similar interests, building confidence, expanding friendship groups and fostering a spirit of cooperation. We encourage students to step outside of their comfort zone when selecting courses, choosing both something challenging and something new to enrich their learning journey.
Tailored Learning
BSB University also provides opportunities for differentiation, catering to the individual needs of our students, whether that be offering enrichment opportunities for more able and talented students or creating courses that engage all learners. This enrichment programme enhances, broadens and extends the primary curriculum, meeting the diverse needs of our students.
