BREIS – Hip Hop Literacy Workshop at BSB
Exploring Language and Creativity Through Music
In celebration of Black History Month, BSB had the privilege of hosting BREIS, a distinguished UK hip-hop artist, for an engaging and creative workshop. Known for his captivating performances and unique blend of Hip Hop, Jazz, and Afrobeat, BREIS brought a fresh perspective on literacy through his dynamic approach to music and wordplay.
During the workshop, students transformed into creators, exploring language, rhythm, and self-expression through music. Under BREIS’s guidance, they crafted their own verses and even took to the stage, sharing their work with newfound confidence. This immersive experience inspired students to connect with language in a new way, making literacy both fun and relevant.
