A Spark of Imagination: Highlights from the BSB Summer Fair
The summer holidays are already in full swing but we can’t help but recall one of the most joyous events of the Summer Term — the BSB Summer Fair 2025. Held at the start of June, this year brought the theme ‘Spark of Imagination’ to life through a vibrant mix of creativity, community and fun.
Families, students and staff came together across the BSB campus for a day filled with colour, laughter and shared memories. From stage performances and adventure games to art, innovation and hands-on activities, there was truly something for everyone.
A Stage Full of Talent
The main stage lit up with energy and talent throughout the day. The Primary Choir opened the programme with a joyful set, followed by a fencing demonstration, elegant Ballet and Modern Dance performances, the Primary Rock Band and a lively performance from the Staff Band.
The grand finale of BSB’s Got Talent featured a brilliant mix of music, comedy, drumming and gymnastics, keeping the audience fully engaged right up to the winner announcement.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was a high-energy set by Vali Bărbulescu, our special guest and one of Romania’s most well-known DJs. His performance brought a vibrant atmosphere to the fair!
A Fairground of Fun
Across the campus, students and families enjoyed an impressive variety of games and experiences — from Mini Golf, Beat the Goalie and Obstacle Course challenges to favourites like Face Painting, Hook a Duck, Hair & Nails and Soak the Teacher.
Thrill-seekers took on the Zip Line Adventure and Pool Climbing Wall, while curious minds explored the VR Experience, Innovation Hub, wooden puzzles and Insta Challenge. Creativity was also in full swing at The Ultimate Doodle and Bedazzling stations.
The Photo Booth was a big hit, offering both classic snapshots with fun props and a full 360° photo experience — perfect for capturing the energy of the day.
Art and Community Spirit
The Primary Palette Art Auction was a true celebration of student creativity, drawing admiration and enthusiasm from all who passed by. We were also proud to welcome Light into Europe, Fundația Inocenți and Help the People — charities supported by the BSB community this year.
With LEGO® play areas, delicious refreshments, garden games and a warm atmosphere throughout the day, the Summer Fair was a wonderful celebration of imagination and togetherness.
Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success. It was one of the most memorable moments of this Summer Term — and a celebration we will not soon forget.
