A New School Year Begins at BSB

There is something special about the first day of school: the anticipation of what lies ahead, the joy of seeing familiar faces again and, for those starting somewhere new, the excitement of a brand-new beginning. On Wednesday, students, families and staff came together on campus to mark the beginning of the 2026–27 academic year. The Front Field filled with familiar first-day scenes as friends found each other after the summer, teachers welcomed their students and families captured the occasion at the First Day of School photo booths.

The First Day in Primary and Secondary

In Primary, students met their teachers and classmates and settled into their classrooms, with our youngest pupils sharing those first few moments with their parents. Secondary students joined their Form Tutors and form groups before lessons began, while Sixth Form students started the year with their dedicated induction programme, preparing for the opportunities and responsibilities of the year ahead. Before long, classrooms were busy, conversations filled the corridors and the familiar rhythm of school life had returned.

Where BSB Comes to Life

The BSB campus truly comes to life when our students return – whether for the start of a new school year or, one day, as Alumni returning to a place that was once part of their everyday lives. Classrooms, corridors and shared spaces find their meaning in the people who fill them, while seeing our students return reminds us of the purpose behind everything we do. With academic excellence at the core, BSB is ultimately shaped by the people, connections and experiences that make learning and growth possible.

Welcome back, BSB. Here’s to the 2026–27 academic year!
