The British School of Bucharest (BSB) was proud to host the Student Leadership Weekend in November 2025. This event brought together educators and students from around the world to share knowledge, inspire innovation and develop leadership skills.

Student Leadership Weekend
The British School of Bucharest (BSB) was delighted to host the Student Leadership Weekend, tailored primarily for Sixth Form students.

What Students Have Learned
- They developed knowledge and understanding of management and leadership principles.
- They worked towards an internationally recognised qualification – the Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership, accredited by the Royal Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
- They learned effective coaching techniques to engage with peers and mentor younger students.
- They explored strategies for project management and making a lasting impact as Student Leaders.
- They practised and refined public speaking skills for leadership roles and presentations.
- They strengthened their ability to manage a team and take on leadership roles such as prefect or team leader.
Accompanying staff had the opportunity to achieve a Level 3 Mental Health First Aid Supervisor.
