Learning Through Play
A British School of Bucharest EYFS education involves a lot of play. Our native English-speaking teachers plan exciting activities that provide learning opportunities based on the children’s educational, social and personal needs. They engage our students and create a play-oriented learning environment that encourages individual development.
Understanding the Learning Needs of Each Child
We provide our children with a safe, secure and nurturing environment where they can develop their unique abilities and talents. To know how to best help children on their learning journey, our teachers conduct continuous classroom observations as the children play and work. Gradually they build up a portfolio for each child that documents their engagement and achievements. We also encourage our parents, who we consider partners, to contribute to developing this portfolio.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
The co-curricular programme is essential to our children’s education and personal development. Our Reception students can choose an after-school co-curricular activity from 15.00 – 16.00 daily. Our courses cover many areas of interest, from sports activities and arts education to music classes, innovation classes, mental well-being or life skills.
