From a Bold Idea to Global Recognition!

We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students who took part in the prestigious Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition 2025 — the world’s largest virtual entrepreneurship contest for high school students.

Among the talented participants from BSB was Antoan, who developed BlindSpot — an innovative radar-based belt designed to enhance the mobility and safety of visually impaired individuals. With the guidance of our dedicated mentors, Antoan secured an incredible 2nd place in Europe!

Antoan was joined by several other BSB students, who also shared their innovative ideas on the global stage and gained valuable experience from the competition.

The Blue Ocean Competition is a global virtual contest that, in 2025, saw over 12,700 students from 163 countries and more than 6,000 schools compete by pitching innovative business ideas based on the “blue ocean strategy”, which combines innovation with low cost to make competition irrelevant. Unique for its accessibility and educational focus, the competition welcomes solo or team entries without requiring a start-up, offering expert feedback, practical tools and templates and opportunities to develop key skills like pitching, teamwork and strategic thinking while connecting with peers worldwide.

At BSB, student success in competitions like Blue Ocean is supported by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hubs, which develop key skills such as critical thinking, creativity, leadership and financial literacy. The Innovation Hub offers hands-on, cross-disciplinary learning through projects like Project Zephyr and The Arctic Challenge, while the Entrepreneurship Hub helps students turn ideas into action through real-world business experiences. For students like Antoan, these hubs provide the tools, guidance and confidence to take their innovations to the global stage.

Congratulations to Antoan and all our participants. We look forward to supporting you on your entrepreneurial journeys!
