Starting this September, Beyond the Classroom is an exciting new addition to the British School of Bucharest’s after-school provision, designed to offer students a wide range of enriching opportunities that enhance their educational journey and provide an engaging and rewarding experience within the BSB Community.

About the Programme

The Beyond the Classroom programme is a new addition to the British School of Bucharest’s after-school provision, designed to support students’ development beyond the school day. Available for both Primary and Secondary students, the programme offers two tailored enrichment pathways delivered by experienced BSB teaching staff. 

Schedule: 

Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM 

Included:  

Afternoon snack and a freshly prepared hot meal.

Primary & Secondary Enrichment

BSB Primary Enrichment

Providing a balanced afternoon of:

  • Homework support
  • Guided learning
  • Creative activities
  • Recreational activities
  • Wellbeing activities

Delivered in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

BSB Secondary Enrichment

Providing a structured programme of:

  • Supervised study
  • Homework support
  • Revision
  • Assessment preparation
  • Independent learning

Designed to help students develop strong study habits and confidence.

How Beyond the Classroom Fits into the School Day

The Beyond the Classroom Programme is separate from the British School of Bucharest’s Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), giving families greater flexibility.

Students may choose to attend the Beyond the Classroom Programme, a Co-Curricular Activity (CCA), or combine both.

Those taking part in a CCA are welcome to join the once their activity has finished.
