Primary Teacher – PPA Cover

The British School of Bucharest is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Primary School to join our successful team from April or August 2024. This position is not class-based and involves teaching across the Primary School to provide cover for teaching staff with additional responsibilities. The role will include regularly timetabled teaching commitments in EYFS, as well as other subject areas in KS1 and KS2.

We offer a dynamic teaching and learning environment for over 600 students from more than 50 different countries. The school is well established and is situated in a stunning campus with well-resourced facilities.

We are committed to offering a broad and balanced curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales. We have been awarded BSO status via the Independent Schools Inspectorate and are also an accredited member of COBIS.

Bucharest is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city. It offers a relatively inexpensive and yet high standard of living. There are opportunities nearby to ski and explore the countryside.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, experienced with the UK curriculum and will have a strong desire to work in a diverse, international environment. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic educator, willing to contribute to our extensive extra-curricular programme and to be committed to our whole school community. Preference will be given to applicants with the experience and ability to teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
