​Leo Bird

History Teacher

Leo Bird joined the team at the British School of Bucharest in 2016 and teaches Humanities and Drama. He gained a BA in Modern History and Politics from the University of Wales, completed an MA in Intellectual and Cultural History at Queen Mary, University of London, and is currently completing his PhD thesis at the University of Sheffield, where he has also taught two undergraduate courses. Leo spent 10 years teaching the British Curriculum in UK schools - six of these years were at a high-performing selective school working extensively with A level students.
